[BC] Are Radios and TVs Made w/poor Tuners?

         This is part and parcel of the "free enterprise" system.
         And .. it also highlights another topic that is often
         mentioned: consumer desire.

         I can't remember the study, but it was stated rather
         strongly that if the SOUND on a TV was clear, the
         average consumer would put up with all manner of poor video.

         In other words, if they could "make out" the picture, but
         *know* from the dialog what was happening - CONTENT -
         they were happy.

         I suspect that if the content were *compelling,* even IBOC
         users would be thrilled to put up antennae for reception.

         Cheap, good, reliable.   Pick two.
