[BC] Re: Auxiliary AM Transmitters

I'm finding more and more stations are keeping their old boxes in true emergency spare mode. With the resale value being so low for boxes these days, it makes no sense to get rid of them if they're operable, there is space to install the new box and keep the oldest guy in "cold" storage. Then be able to bring it up in short order when Jesus is calling and the Rapture is beginning. Or the SS box won't play into something more than 1.25:1

It's something we're doing as we replace all our early 80's vintage boxes. Once station has 5 TX's across two sites and a 2nd has 4 TX's across two sites. All but one are operable if really needed....though some connecting is needed.
