Barry:
I believe I have probably related to Barry the story of my being told to remeasure the common point and the ND tower at the 12 tower site. I made the Non-D Measurement and heard the WOWO and XEWK interfence (Before coherent detectors) got the data and hauled all the equipment from the ND tower to the building and set to measure the common point. While I was measuring the common point no XEWK or WOWO or KEX on my detector but some c & w music was coming in loud and clear. When I switched back to non-D XEWK and WOWO but back to DA and the country format. I listened for a while as they were just segueing the records, probably on the phone with his gal, then all of a sudden a jingle K-R-D-S Tolleson, AZ. I was astonded that I could receive that 250 Watts so clearly. The bells rang in my head and I felt stupid, a directional transmitt antenna is also a directional receive antenna. Tolleson was off the side of the major as I recall. The DE had never heard KRDS in al!
l his years of bridging the systems at the other two sites.

Trivia moment: KRDS. The jocks on this DA-1
were the Kards Dealers, and the format was
playing the hits from the Dealers' Deck of 52
There is one more thing, but someone else will have
to say it. And, no, tapes will not be made available.
