I was visiting WHAM (to work on the FM with
Craig). The HG was still there in pieces and I
seem to remember a MW50 sitting there. They
wanted to dump the HG and put in something newer
for full power back up. Guess they did it.
KMOX: It was a 100 kW throttled back. This was
WAY back in the 70's. Cross neutralized final. I
drove down from Quincy  ( I was field service
eng) to 'loan' those CBS boys a spectrum analyzer
to troubleshoot the rig. God! It was beautifuly.
They later bought a MW50. John Battison told me
the WTAM was also a 100 kW running at 50. Wonder
if he has any photos?
