[BC] WGUN Westinghouse

When I visited the KDKA site in 1975 I saw their HG-50 "rectifier room".
They had rebuilt all of the rectifiers in it by hand. I was told at that
time that someone had been electrocuted in that room by a similar mistake.
By then their primary tx was an MW-50, but the Westinghouse was still lit up
on standby. I was also impressed by the tube surrey, which was used for two
people to carry the final tubes in, out and around the building.

transmitter....was built to be 100,000 watts....and I believe it was
originally built as a ship transmitter with "light iron." The "Frankenstein"
high voltage vault is awesome!
