 WFIFeng:    "E1" and "R42" are schematic labels, and unless you have the 
schematic of that unit in front of you, are completely meaningless. 
 WFIFeng:    Nobody is going to know what they are. 
 WFIFeng:    "R42" means that is a resistor.  
 WFIFeng:    That's like saying to the police that you witnessed a 
"hit-and-run" and all you can tell them is that it was "A car". No color, make/model, or 
license plate. It's not going to help them figure anything out. 
 WFIFeng:    As for "E1"... i have NO CLUE what THAT is! <:o 
 WFIFeng:    Now... if he said "We need a 100K, 50 watt resistor" that would 
be very useful information... the equivalent to giving the Police Officer the 
license plate of the hit-and-run. 
 WFIFeng:    Roger that? ;) 
 WFIFeng:    Ask Bill what, exactly, the required parts are.
