Actually, FYI, you have it backwards.  GPS signals are highly 
vulnerable to interference, sometimes with severe consequences. 
Since we're becoming more and more dependent on GPS, the longwave 
system, LORAN at 100 kHz, is gaining new credibility to act as a 
backup.  See:
