Frank,
The frustration is that either the commission does not understand the
interference issues or does not care and both cases are frustrating.
CODEC issues notwithstanding, the system generates interference to
adjacent allocations on both AM and FM and the commission, the primarily
reason for its existence is to stop stations from interfering with other
stations has their head up their respective keisters and will not pull
them out for political reasons. I do not know, maybe they are all
Vampires and shy away from the light, they most certainly are living off
the blood of the broadcasting community! They might have a reflection
but I would not bet on it.
We have two different issues here. A. Can the audio quality be
improved? I'm sure it can and will. B. Can the interference be
eliminated? Not with the current system.
