Normally I'd agree with you on that one. However, WWL did serve many 
of New Orleans' residents who had moved hundreds of miles away. 
WWL-TV was carried on one of my local DTV sub channels. If radio did 
even half the job the TV did they deserve every award in the book. It 
was community service the likes of which we rarely see today.
