I can't imagine why you'd say that. Don't you read the press
releases? Why there was one just recently declaring that nighttime
IBUZ will only accelerate the dramatic IBUZ rollout already in
progress with CD quality on FM and FM quality on AM. Why would you
doubt a press release, especially one written by one of the formerly
great advertising/PR agencies in the industry with the financial
clout of the largest players in our business? Are you suggesting they
might be foolin' us? That's a terribly unfair suggestion considering
how selfless the organization is when it comes to making the small
broadcaster as robust as the monster dudes are.

Despite what "trust me" normally means, I have full confidence that
we'll soon wipe out satellite and the iPod just as the press releases
imply. Why do we need 150+ channels at a financially crippling $12.95
when we can have 2 channels, maybe 3, absolutely free and
outstandingly unique. Trust me. They're unique. Who would have
thought someone would be bold enough to add Rap to an AC format?

I have to stop now. I have to restrain my excitement. Strangely, I
was at Circuit City yesterday and had a long chat with a 22 year old
salesperson. Hard as I tried I couldn't get him to share my
excitement. Even stranger is the fact that he's a member of a very
good regional band that stands to gain enormously by exposure on the
nation's HD-2 channels.

I spent quite a bit of time explaining what HD Radio is. He had no
idea. The revolution is being fought in another city.
