Gents, thank you for keeping Barix in mind ... but that is not the idea of 
my posts.

I am in the IP business for 20 years now, building devices which just work 
(I guess most of you will
have equipment in the studios and transmitters in the meantime which uses 
technology i developed, 
if you are curious check for 00-20-4a- MAC addresses ;). I hate to learn 
something does not work 
as expected. So a pledge to however reads this: If you have issues with a 
Barix box which are not 
explainable, erratic, or - better for us - reproduceable problems, and 
they cannot be resolved by 
distributor or tech support, contact me. I will make sure we will get 
things right. I know that the 
Broadcast Industry is a good community - and I would assume that's the 
same thing for many other
(management owned) manufacturers, not just Barix.
