[BC] The FCC hates daytimers

Like I said, you can thank the Feds for all the screw ups we have to
live with!  It's all about how much $$$$$ you got.

During comment time on the use of FM translators for AM's was a good
idea, but I turned against it because ONLY stations that are classified
"FULLTIME" stations, like Class C's would get them. Bart Walker, owner
WGNS-AM in Murfreesboro, TN, has $$$$, political power, along with the
backing of MY MONEY gave in yearly dues to the Tennessee Association of
Broadcasters; he got an STA for an FM translator.

Us owners of daytime stations with no or flea power at night WILL NOT
GET ONE, PERIOD!  What made me mad was the NAB had the nerve to use us
as an example, when I know they want us gone!

I had almost hoped that someday I could retire, buy a plot of land out

the country, put up a bunch of Beverage antennas and spend the rest of

life DXing.   Alas, it now looks like I will have to take up stamp
collecting.  I am getting too slow to try collecting butterflies.  And
the
only plot of land I own is at Forest Lawn.  Boo!
