Oh, a Chief Engineer friend of mine taught me an acronym for IBOC

IBOC=Inherently Bad Off Channel

As as another CE put it to me,m his call letters now mean:

WTMI: We Transmitter Much Interference ............They were the first  AM
to go Digital in Connecticut..
