[BC] Skywave dying

I just dont see the advantage to AM HD IBOC. If you could run separate
programming on the HD then it would have some value. I have listened to it,
and it has very high listener fatigue, like XM radio does. The static and
other noise on analog has to get real bad for me to tune out

I am not, I figured this was coming.. the only thing the FCC cares about
these days is making money and helping the big broadcasters. They could give
a s**t about little guys like me. They just want to force us out of the
business, when it should be the other way around.

However, they havent MANDATED IBOC on AM or FM yet.... that's good. IBOC on
Am is one of the worst things ever thought of, it was only created for the
companies involved to make money, the FCC too. I can guarentee you our
station here will NEVER go IBOC/HD, I highly doubt anyone here has a capable
radio or will ever have one

Oh well, I'll stick with my Analouge AM, thank you very much!!
