In Germany, 74 to 87 MHz is still used for public safety.

In the UK, a portion of this range is the "4-metre" ham band:

The RSGB magazine Radcom has reported that the Dutch government plans
to give a portion of TV Channel 4 back to the hams after it's vacated
-- a kind gesture indeed!
