I know this site well - At least as of about 5 years ago. The stairs
in the back lead up to a room on the north side of the building that
was used by Mel Mobley as his engineering office. Mel did a lot of
directional work around the country side. The RCA's fan room was
actually down stairs, under the building.
The glass brick windows seen are on the south side of the building
facing Burbank Blvd. From the brief glimpse I got, It appears that
the new Nautel transmitter may be on the southwest side of the main
transmitter room. I couldn't tell for sure but it looks like the
MW-50 may still be there. For sure the carcass of the BTA-50F is still there.
