I recall a Cetec or Sparta 1 kW.solid state at a station in Selma, Alabama.
Do you recall the Syntronics solid state AM transmitter that had essentially
plug-in transistor modules that were built on 4-400 plug-in bases? It was my
recollection that this essentially a solid state version of their 4-400 Class
B modulator with Class C RF stages with a different power supply.
Does anyone recall data on these transmitters??
Also the beacon company out of Beaumont, TX used to build AM transmitter and
were at the NAB one year did anyone ever see one of their AM solid state
transmitters in the field?
