Pat Finnegan was CE there when it was WLBC/WMUN(FM)/WLBC-TV(49).
It was all spit and polish and everthing worked like a major
market station, mainly thanks to Mr. Indiana Broadcasting, Don
Burton who owned and ran WLBC from the beginning for years and
years. He was a great broadcaster and a gentleman. One of the
true pioneers of the business. (Not to be confused with the other
one, Don Burden of the WIFE affair in Indy who was none of the
above.) BTW, that money all came from running WLBC in the real
public interest. Back in the day, that was a classic small market
station.
