If anyone is interested in an off-air AM frequency check (in the
eastern PA, DE, NJ region) please send me a note.  I use an HP 3586C
referenced to a rubidium standard, which works very well for these
measurements; the counter resolution is +/- 0.1 Hz. Under favorable
conditions, I'm also able to take frequency readings on some stations
in upstate NY (during critical hours), well beyond their normal
groundwave coverage areas.
