PCDJ comes to mind. My college used it until they purchased a Scott Studio
machine. It has two decks, variable speed, and will play through a list, or
shuffle it. It can be configured with two outputs - one per deck or a mix
of the two decks and a separate cue out.

My school used the 'Red' version, but the 'Blue' looks more like what he
would like.

Subject: [BC] "DJ" type automation
We're looking for a simple music player. "DJ" or karaoki type software, not
full automation. What the PD wants is something that looks like two cart
machines on the screen, and an easy way to load up the next file & let 'er
rip.
He's seen Ots Juke & not keen on that.
This will not be a primary automation--we've got that (Simian). He's
looking at a weekend live shift, where we would pull up the music off one
computer, bounce back and forth for a couple songs, then punch up Simian on
the main automation system for the stop sets.
The program would have to handle .wav files and allow some walkaway, we've a
spare Audio Science card & a new XP pro computer to use with it.
Any suggestions?
