I wouldn't see putting digital in the LF band that is presently used for
broadcasting. There is a section that is allocated for broadcast use in
Region 1 and Region 3. It would not be beyond the realm of possibility that
there could be another World Administrative Radio Conference to allocate
this portion of spectrum to broadcasting in Region 2 also. There are radios
available now that will tune this band in the analog domain. If another
area of the LF spectrum that is not now allocated for broadcasting, such as
the 300-500 kHz region, were used here I see no reason why at least a
portion of it could not be set aside for DRM. I wouldn't want iNiquity
there.
