On this and other topics, Peter Drucker, THE management guru of the 20th
century wrote: "There are no business failures, only management failures."

BTW he is also the fellow who wrote that profit is a reward, not a goal.
IOW if you perform a service needed by society and manage the company
well, profit is one of the results, but if you manage for profit, the
ultimate result is generally failure.
