[BC] Changes at CBS?

Back in 1984 I was involved in the Direct Broadcast Satellite project. CBS
was
one of eight applicants each granted a license. CBS after a few months
decided to
pull out of the project. Financial backers of the other applicants then took
the attitude
that if "holy CBS" doesn't think it feasible then maybe we should think
likewise.
A very respected CBS TV engineer friend of mine made the classic statement
"If there is a way to screw-up CBS will find it". They sure did in the DBS
project!
