I've been running a Jetta 9400 for almost three years now. Best notebook I've
ever had by a mile, out of the four I've owned. It also is fully compatible
with SuSE Linux (started with v8.3, and has been upgraded numerous times
since -- currently at SLED 10). My previous unit was a Dell Latitude --
nothing but trouble. The mobo ended up being replaced by Dell no less than
three times over the two years I had it (fortunately, I had purchased the
extended on-site warranty). The Jetta OTOH has been bullet-proof.
The Jettas are not a well-known brand, and are sold mainly through the smaller
'Mom & Pop' type outlets. For info, see:

May I suggest something vastly superior to both?

Cheers!
