 It seems to me, and I could be wrong, that if a Non-D is THAT narrow 
 banded to start with, where it could make a difference, it's not gonna
 be correctable by a few feet of line anyway.

 I'm recalling a situation in the not too distant past, where a manufacturer
 said the HD didn't work because of "cusp rotation" and the consultant
 wanted to know which way to rotate a dot !!
