Grease might help but remember the cable weighs 2.5 pounds per foot
without taking into account the reel. A 750 foot run would weigh 1875
pounds without the reel. So you are looking at something that can handle
a ton. The last time I laid a big line, We had a Cat to lift the reel
and then roll back as a number of people along the way guided the cable
into place. When you work with large line, you really need to consider
the mechanics of the think about how you are actually going to install
it or hire some one who does it all the time.
