You can (according to my attorney) keep an electronic copy at the carpet
store, chamber of commerce, library, where ever you desire, as long as
one has access to it via pc at that location.  Makes life a tad easier.

After our attorney determined that we did not need a local studio in the
town, we placed the public file at a customer's tile and carpet store.

We also keep duplicate copies at the studios for that station.
Problem with this scheme is that we have to make two copies of
everything and remember to take them into the store to add to the file.
