The only problem is that there is not much equipment that runs the 
existing full limit. Unless you rolled your own, it would be hard to 
find the gear. That being said, it would be nice if AM operation could 
revert to 1KW DC input power.  Then again just how many people would 
that affect?  As for NRSC audio, if you think about it, how many 
receivers are wide enough to pass the full signal? That should probably 
be a good test - if the transmitted bandwidth matches the receive bandwidth.
