The audio tubes are one thing. They seem to be plentiful from multiple
sources. The more specialized higher power RF tubes is what would
concern me. I see that even now 3-500 tubes as used in a number of Ham
linears are more available than 4-400s which is not an audiophile item.

If not for the Hams, certainly for the AudioPhools who will spend (literally) 100 times what a tube is really worth! They've already caused once-inexpensive tubes to *skyrocket* in price! After all... how can you blame a vendor for selling a $5 tube for $500 to some phool with too much money?
