[BC] The all-New PSRA/PSSA nightmare!!!

1. I've got a Sine, too, and it is not difficult to program from home. Group chiefs will have the correct powers & times programmed in just as soon as the clowns at the FCC figure out what powers they want the stations to use.

This change will cause chaos for the thousands of smaller operations with no engineering support, or clueless support*. Many of these owners will not even be aware there is a problem. After all Engineer Smith programmed that remote control 3 years ago and everything works...

2. All very nice that the Commission recognizes they screwed up, but this doesn't answer the question of why they had to change everything in the first place.

With the NAB coming, presumably there will be some kind of FCC presence. Someone should ask this very question. Not that there will be any kind of rational answer. Or any answer at all. "Do a little sidestep.." (remember the song from the "Best Whorehouse in Texas?")

*Clueless support: An FM station not far from us went off the air. Owner calls his engineering "support." Said "raddidio injuneer" burned up a new IPA and PA before he figured out that the blower had died. I haven't figured out why they had the air switch bypassed. Probably to keep the transmitter on the air since the blower was failing...?
