I believe the 50 kW driver is STILL operational. Paul Jellison had it on the
air New Year's eve 1999.

Very high power consumption, althoug it was very high fidelity.

I've heard reports the Cathanode was operational for a lot longer than 
the 50 kW driver of the 500 kW Tx ... perhaps well into the 317C era.
