I recall reading the paper on the "Cathanode"  50 kW. homemade  transmitter.  
20-20,000 cycles audio response with less than 1.5%  HD.     Interesting that 
out of all of the 50 kW rigs up  there foir years that was the only one not 
kept in running condition.  I  wonder why?
