[BC] Outlook Express Problem

When you have an issue with a single mailbox in OE, the first thing you need
to do is empty it (create another folder as a "holding tank" if there's
stuff in the inbox you want keep).

Then close OE, search up inbox.dbx on your hard drive, and DELETE the file.

When you re-open OE, it will re-create the inbox.dbx file, and usually life
is good again after that. The problem you describe is not something I've
seen before, but I've seen lots of odd behavior in OE solved by deleting
these "stock" files and letting OE re-create them.

This often works for Sent Items and Deleted Items, too. I don't think I've
ever needed to delete outbox.dbf because it tends not to ever get "clogged
up" because the program tries to empty it.

No promises here, but this will probably have a good chance of taking care
of your problem.
