A few things. Certain applications need to be re-compiled while working
under the target OS. Another point is why are you attempting to make a
new application work on unsupported OSs? Any decent sized IT operation
will no longer permit win 98 and NT 4 to be on their network to begin
with. I would not loose a lot of sleep over something not working with
Win 98. As time goes on, most things will not work under Win 98.
