The problem child that I know of is the filament bypass capacitor
(bathtub type) located under the modulator deck of a 20V2. It typically
works fine until you turn the transmitter off for a while, then when you
turn it back on the modulators cherry out really fast. Replace the .25uf
600V cap and all is good again.
