The local Congressman just became chair of the House Budget Committee. 
That, apparently, is requirement enough.

(In a quote to the local paper, he did say he expects the FCC to act 
soon on allowing FM translators for all AMs, which would at least make 
the grant to WRHI a little less unfair - but if that's the case, why 
shouldn't WRHI have to wait, too?)
