We approached it from the northeast last time, coming home from the Big Horn
Basin via Shoshoni, Casper, the Shirley Basin, Medicine Bow, and Rock River.
We stopped on the west side of Laramie for gas, and the wind was at about 50
mph out of the west.................from Laramie to North Platte, NE we got
38 mpg out of the old 91 Dynasty.
There are isolated turbines all along I-80 in western Nebraska, too.
