[BC] AM band and the rules........rant

What the hell ever happened to the concept of 'everyone plays by the same
rules' ?

What ever happened to a 'self-policing' industry ??

What happened to assisting your local Field Office in cracking down on the
blatant rule-breakers instead of burying one's head in the sand because 'it
don't affect me directly' ????



When I read this crap being spewed:

"Nobody cares
except the people in the broadcast industry who feel compelled to whine
about it. "

"My friend feels it wrong to complain since his
dispute is purely business and not technical. "

It makes me wonder about the so-called 'professionalism' that some folks
claim to possess

But hey, it all seems to boil down to 'I'm not going to rock the boat until
it's my ox being gored'.

And the same nay-sayers to calling in the big guns have the unmittigated
gall to make the observation that 'Pretty soon the AM band will be just like
CB'.

Well...DUH !

Who is going to be to blame when AM = CB, if not those who should be
professional enough to want EVERYONE to follow the rules ?
