Well "fiber cored wire" describes "wire that has a Kevlar core with silver
`shield' (the real conductor) around it" pretty well.
I never heard of such a thing, and can not think of a reason to make
such a thing to improve strength, conductivity or flexibility.
We have products for all of the special application that we run into,
as far as I know.
Where did it come from? What is it being used for?
Have you split a piece open to see what is how it is constructed?
