Willie....

As for the stations 290 watt presunrise authorization, due to the earlier
change in time, would it be possible to get that PSRA moved to March? I don't
see why it couldn't be modified. Even if 290 watts does not cover your COL
during that time, at least you are on the air serving someone.

As for the rest of this debate, I contend with the frequencies that my
stations are operating on and that is it. I don't have the time to sit at a radio
and behind a computer all day and all night and scan every station on the dial
and worry if station A, B or C are breaking any laws. If something strange is
occring with a station co-channel or immediate adjacent channel, I'm not going
to scream foul and call "the radio police" off the bat. Find out who is
technically in charge of that RF plant and see if there are any malfunctions. If
there are none and the "problem" continues,[repeat offender causing your station
to lose business] yes then bring in the appropriate actions. But then let the
FCC deal with it at that point...and the FCC will make it public if any
actions come of it.That's their job...not anyone elses.
If something strange technically speaking were to happen at WFIF and for
some off the wall reason the station was on over night at full power.
Malfunction. Would you want someone screaming foul, calling the FCC and stiring up
trouble?..or would you rather have someone contact the station and say "hey, I know
your station is a daytime operation and isn't suppose to be on during certain
hours, you might want to see what happen" I'd much rather someone do that
[help you...give benefit of the doubt] than have some busy bodies that think they
know it all and start some trouble. Anyhow, ignoring a problem station 4 and 5
channels away...or even at the opposite end of the dial doesn't make it
ok...but you have to draw a line and say, ok, my time is worth this much, I have
only so many hours in a day and I have this much to do. The rest of the issues
in radio, you'll have to leave to our trusted FCC. That is what they are there
for....regardless of how powerful or powerless that agency has become.

There are too many people, since the coming along of the internet that want
to play "Mr. FCC".

Otherwise I and more than likely, many others on here have way to much to do
than to waste, worrying about something like this.
