Story: Many years ago some of the locals were visiting the ham
who then headed the ham radio part of the FCC. He was operating
great guns -- until one of the visitors noticed that his
license, framed on the wall, had expired.  OOPS!!!  Wrote
himself a "pink ticket", he did.  That was long before the day
of the NAL.

Paul, you got me to look at my ham ticket, over a year to run.
