That is the Pulsar 250B or 500B
The 250B is a perfect stand by, if one feels compelled to have a stand
by transmitter. I'm not a big Energy Onix fan, but that's a good choice.

Oh my gosh is that all they cost? I was wondering...but had guessed a
250
w. s.s. AM tx would run $10K to $15K. $3500 is less than some ham
rigs.
On the other hand, there were months at the 3kw erp FM I once worked at
when
we could barely pay the light bill.
