[BC] Why an older transmitter may be a good choice

I know of many stations with no aux transmitters. It really depends on
the situation. Example: If I was the owner of WGN, WSM, etc, yep I would
have an aux., but a 1 KW daytime, in a small town, I don't think so.  A
BE or Armstrong would be just fine with me. They are built rock solid
and I can say the Armstrong will run under stranger loads than most
other SS Boxes I've seen.

I won't argue with you on that Robert, but how about this--a tube aux is

better than no aux at all?  Or is that no longer the case as well?
