[BC] Why an older transmitter may be a good choice

Paul,
If you have that much of a bubble each month, you have enough to buy a 
brand new TX easily. Or stated another way, it cost less to purchase and 
run a new unit than it does to keep the old tube unit alive. In the 
particular situation where a station is planning to go dark in the near 
future then (and only then) it might make sense to allow the tube box to 
chug along.
