Hmmm,

One does not know who the FCC master are!  The FCC is an independent
regulatory agency and the President gets to nominate the FCC's
Commissioners, but it is Cngress who controls the money, and who
controls Congress now?  We had a little discussion on the list recently
about a special favor in Nevada for an unlicensed station with FCC
granted STA, remember?  I think Harry Read had something to say about
that.  I don't think he is a Republican. I think you got a long way to
go to understand politics and Washington.

Don't you suppose the "fix" is in with a Republican controlled FCC  ???

want the deal done before the regulatory agencies are reworked  after
the 
2008 elections. Also-- what about mandated interoperability and how 
will they 
save the reported $7 billion. Stay tuned.
