Why? It's a strategic corporate investment. During my time in the 
newspaper industry, I was this a lot. Our first entry into the Internet 
was such a case. Commit to the technology only enough to where if it 
works and can generate reveune and you can expand it. And commit only 
enough to where if it doesn't work and turns out to be a dog that you 
can abandon it with little or no capital loss. You should have seem some 
of the crap they threw money at.
