The answers confirm what I already figured. This station has a DX-50, and is
50 kW non-D, yet can not supermodulate due to this line.

It might work if the line is filled with Freon instead of air, due to the
better dielectric constant of Freon. However, finding a ready source of
R-12 may be problematical nowadays...
