I see the ethernet & M& C ports on the back panel diagram from their puff sheet.

Re-reading the posting by the fellow who just got one of these, it appears the issue is service...the tech's aren't sure how to get his port to work.

He also claims that he was told these receivers are being deployed because of the AMC-8 problems & ABC's need to cut back their carrier levels. I seriously doubt if the RF section is any better, though, since everyone seems to design these beasts on the left coast, directly under the bird.

Here in WV, my ver tical "look angle" is only 15 degrees above the horizon. My two ABC Starguides are sitting on 11's and 12's, we know our dish is as close to optimum as possible for an 80's vintage solid dish, since we've been fighting TI on our Premier feed. (MCI finally killed that carrier, the Premier Starguide is at 12 now).

As someone commented once, you can tell the early adopters because they have arrows in their backs. As I mentioned, I have my two ABC Starguides configured with extra cards and cross-permissioned to back up each other. ABC can wait two or three years to get the "latest and greatest" to me.
