[BC] FM Radio moves to ascendency

Dallas was one of the first major FM markets. When I was there in the 
mid 70s most of the high-rated stations were FM. Only WBAP and, 
occasionally, KRLD would rank high among them. WBAP always being #1. 
I suspect that history of FM makes them pay attention. It also has 
flat terrain. It was a time when other markets rarely saw an FM in 
the top10. There were lots of Class Cs on tall towers.
	
	Starting in the mid-late 1960s, KRFM (FM), Phoenix was
	#1 in the market, with beautiful music ...  and
	stayed that way for some time.
	
	Some have suggested it was the first FM to reach
	#1 in a market.
