"Here's one for the notebook (I think). Traveling down I-95 in
southeastern Georgia, I stumbled upon an AM carrying some talk radio
with which to idle away the miles a bit. At local break time, the
station promo ran something like, "You're tuned to WCGA - Wonderful
Coastal Georgia, featuring the warm natural sounds of vacuum tubes!"
Wonder if any others are proud to still be running tubes?

(And oh, another promo ran along the lines of.."The most powerful
unidirectional AM station from Virginia to Jacksonville.")
